Emotion of black & white photography

I like looking at the last black and white photos that I've done. They remind me of something I'd like to work with in the dark room and all the smelly chemicals. I almost miss it. Almost. It does get lonely in there even with the radio on.

I would still very much like to continue doing B&W landscapes. I found this photographer a few months back, I can't remember who he is to save my life, but he really inspired me having similar taste in B&W landscape photography and the way we both learned anything about photography is rather similar. I think what I loved most about his work was the contrast he used. I can remember his photos and how they made me feel. They were not technically perfect but they didn't need to be.
